It was like: finally, finally, I managed to fly my mother to Bali and to have a five days mother-and-daughter date. My mom is not a ‘traveling person’ so for me it was kind of an achievement! :D

We went beachclubbing in Nusa Dua and Sanur areas (more quiet than the ever popular Kuta, Legian or Seminyak beaches), visited Ubud where my late father used to live, and drove to Uluwatu Temple in the heat. Uluwatu Temple is said to be most beautiful at sunset, but there are a lot of monkeys in the temple compound, and visitors are advised to not wear glasses since there’s a big risk that the monkeys will grab them – but the monkeys tend to hide when it’s hot – so we went there on the heat because I can’t see without my glasses…)

Anyway, it was great that five Days passed so quickly and I came back in Jakarta refreshed and happy!
